Who says men can’t knit? Ed Moseley, an 86-year-old living in an assisted living home, learned about a local Atlanta hospital that needed knit hats for premature babies. Being a retired engineer, Ed picked up a pair of knitting needles, read the instructions, and started knitting baby hats. After a few tries, he started turning out some very good premie hat.
Ed eventually made 55 of the 300 hats he and other knitters donated to the hospital. Ed plans on knitting about 30 hats a month.
In this Inside Edition story, Ed tells how it all happened.
